i had this earlier - asked for some help but was waiting 2 hours later ...... my issue was i have a DNS setup on my ip settings due to virgin being clunky at home

 

turn it off - all sorted

To add to yummytears post, 

If you have ever changed your DNS settings, you need to set it back to default to access the intranet (local content at http://www/).To do this:

  • Open network and sharing center (use windows search)
  • Click Change Adapter settings
  • Right click your ethernet adapter, and click properties
  • Scroll down to Internet Protocol Version 4, select it and click properties
  • Ensure that both "Obtain IP Address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically" are selected
  • Accept everything and you should be good to go :)

This is what I did, hope it helps anyone :)

You know raising a ticket and waiting two hours for help isn't an awful thing? You don't raise a ticket and get instant help you know.

The best thing to do for something like this, is to contact a member of the epic.Team in the room you're in. We've got technical team in the two main rooms to deal with any issues like this and they can help you out in a few minutes.

Im not an inconsiderate person - i just got told by 2 people someone would be over in 10 minutes on 2 seperate occasions. Either way the resolution was correct even if at the time it was coated with saltyness due to the lan situ :P

 

less whiteknighting on issues plx without info!!!

      epic24 seems so long ago and I haven't been back since. Having taken the 3v3 Rocket League tournament, I'm hungry for more.
       
      And so...
       
      I have plans to return to epic27 with a new team behind me! I am incredibly excited as epic24 was my first taste of a LAN and I loved every minute of it. It's completely worth the 700 miles round trip and I'm ready to do it all over again!
