Lion.

No if. No buts. No caveats.

 

I will be going back to see this again over the weekend to confirm but on first viewing last night, I can't recall seeing a more beautiful, better shot, better scored, emotional and inspirational film than Lion.

 

 

On Saturday I watched Manchester By The Sea which I thought was brilliant but Lion tops it.

I do want to see this, it bares some resemblance to Slumdog Millionaire (little lost orphan boy) which intrigues me.
